Consider an ordinance appointing the Early Ballot Board judge and alternate judge and adding additional early voting polling places for the August 9,19971/2 cent sales tax election. (First Reading) STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joanne Land STAFF RECOMMENDATION: John Willingham, Williamson County Elections Administrator, asked that the Council consider an ordinance adding additional countywide early voting polling places for the August 9th election. By doing so, if one of our citizens happens to be in another part of the County and wishes to vote he will have that opportunity. Also, the Council needs to designate Susie Stublar as the Early Voting Ballot Board Judge and Norma Harris as the Alternate Judge. Staff recommends approval.
