AN ORDINANCE AMENDING §§ 1.1703, 1.1704, 1.1705, 1.1706, AND
1.1707, CODE OF ORDINANCES (1995 EDITION) CITY OF ROUND
ROCK; REVISING FACILITY/EQUIPMENT RENTAL FEES;
REVISING FEES TO RENT COMMUNITY CENTER; REVISING
SPORTS FACILITY LIGHT FEE; REVISING YOUTH SPORTS
ASSOCIATION FACILITY FEES; AND REVISING MUNICIPAL POOL
ADMISSION FEES; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND
REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.

I.
That § 1.1703 Code of Ordinances, (1995 Edition) City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended
to read as follows:
1.1703 FACILITY/EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Resident and non-resident individuals, clubs, organizations, or businesses
may rent parks and recreation facilities, when available, for a fee per
function as follows:
Pavilions:
Neighborhood parks
Old Settlers Park
Recreation Centers:

51 - 75 people
76 - 100 people
101 or more people
Recreation Kit

That §1.1704 Code of Ordinances, (1995 Edition) City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended
to read as follows:
1.1704 ROUND ROCK COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL
(1) Service clubs, civic, and youth organizations may rent the Round Rock
Community Center, when available, for a fee as follows:
Meetings $ 5.00
Socials $ 50.00
(2) Social services or charitable organizations may rent the Round Rock Community
Center, when available, for a fee as follows:

Socials $ 75.00
Private individuals, organizations, and businesses may rent the Round Rock
Community Center, when available, for a fee as follows:
Meetings $ 75.00
Socials $150.00 minimum for up to
four (4) hours; $15.00 extra for each additional hour.
The Round Rock Community Center may be rented for money making or fund
raising purposes, when available, at the rate of $125.00 per day.
As used herein, the term "meeting" means a function whereby the primary
purpose is to conduct the business affairs of the organization. As used herein, the
term "social" means a function whereby the primary purpose is for
entertainment.
III.
That §1.1705 Code of Ordinances, (1995 Edition) City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended
to read as follows:
1.1705 SPORTS FACILITY LIGHT FEE
The fee for use of sports facility lights is $12.00 per hour.

That §1.1706 Code of Ordinances, (1995 Edition) City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby
amended to read as follows:

1.1706 YOUTH SPORTS ASSOCIATION FACILITY FEES
(1) Field Sports
(a) Youth sports associations shall reimburse the city for all electric costs
during the months that their programs are in session.
(b) All youth associations shall reimburse the city for the cost of marble dust
and infield topping used.
(2) Pool Sports
(a) From May 1 to August 31, recreational youth swim teams shall pay
reimburse the city eight dollars and fifty cents ($8.50) per hour that the
pool is used for practices and/or swim meets.
(b) From September 1 to April 30, recreational youth swim teams shall pay
their pro -rata share of actual costs of operating and maintaining the pool.

amended to read as follows:
1.1707 MUNICIPAL POOL ADMISSION
Municipal pool admission fees are hereby established as follows:
(1) Resident Fees - Daily Admission
17 years of age and under $0.75
18 years of age and older $1.25
(2) Resident Fees - Pass (10 visits)
17 years of age and under $ 6.50
18 years of age and older $11.50
(3) Non -Resident Fees - Daily Admission
17 years of age and under $ 1.00
18 years of age and older $ 1.50
(4) Non -Resident Fees - Pass (10 visits)
17 years of age and under $ 9.00
18 years of age and older $14.00

VI.
A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are
expressly repealed.

fifty cents ($4.50) per participant.

cost of marble dust and infield topping used per season.
