Consider approval of the Claim for Payment of Down Payment for a last resort rent
supplement in the amount of $14,700 for the RM 620 ROW Project- Parcel 19- renter Lisa
Peers.
As part of the required relocation process the City's consultant recommended a maximum
tenant supplement amount of $14,700 for replacement housing according to the guidelines
of the TxDoT ROW Manual and the Uniform Act, and this amount was reviewed and
approved by TxDoT staff. The tenant is now requesting payment of the full qualified amount
of $14,700 for a last resort rent supplement to be used as a down payment for purchase of
a replacement dwelling. TxDoT will reimburse the City for 100% of the supplement
payment.
