AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING TO BE HELD IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND
SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
THAT
I.
On the 28th day of January, 1993, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Council
Chambers, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing
giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed
annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part of.
Alternative 1
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the
Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate
days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES FOR 9.000 ACRES
All that certain tract or parcel of land in the J.M. Harrell
Survey, A-284, in Williamson County, Texas and being also a
part of a 112.623 acre tract of land conveyed to Robinson
Land Limited Partnership and also being a part of a 2.073
acre tract of land conveyed to Robinson Ranch by deed
recorded in Volume 1672, Page 951 of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas, and also being a part of a tract
of land called 3.34 acres and designated as Tract 3 in a
deed to Robinson 1991 Land Limited Partnership recorded in
Volume 1996, Page 197 of the said Deed Records and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin set on the curving Northwest line
of R.M. #620, in the South corner of a 15.00 acre tract
conveyed to Lifemark Hospitals, Inc. in Volume 871, Page 888
of the said Deed Records. for the East corner of the above
mentioned 112.623 acre tract and the East corner of this
tract.
THENCE with the arc of the said curve 403.18 feet, said
curve having a radius of 2351.83 feet, a central angle of
09°49'20", and a sub -chord which bears S 61°18'55" W 402.68
feet to an iron pin set for the South corner of this tract.
THENCE N 22°19'00" W 1007.67 feet to an iron pin set for
the West corner of this tract.
THENCE N 67°40'00" E 400.20 feet to an iron fence corner
post found in the occupied West corner of the above
mentioned 15.00 acre tract for the North corner of this
tract. .
THENCE S 22°19'00" E 963.12 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
containing 9.000 acres of land, more or less.
ANNEXATION OR CITY LIMITS EXTENSION PETITION
TO THE MAYOR AND GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
The undersigned owners of the hereinafter described tract of
land, which is vacant and without residents, or on which less than
three (3) qualified voters reside, hereby petition your Honorable
Body to extend the present city limits so as to include as a part
of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the following described
territory, to wit:
(See Exhibit "A")
We hereby certify, under oath, that:
(1) WE ARE THE TRUE AND ONLY OWNERS OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED
TRACT OF LAND and as evidence thereof we have attached as Exhibit
"B" a true and current copy of the Warranty Deed whereby we
acquired said property, and
(2) the above described tract of land is contiguous and
adjacent to the current city limits of the City of Round Rock,
Texas.

This voluntary annexation consists of a 9 acre tract of land which is adjacent to the
Round Rock Hospital. The original zoning requested by the developer will be C-1
(general commercial).
