ORDINANCE NO. _ C(% 0 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, I. On the 28th day of January, 1993, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of. II. On the 28th day of January, 1993, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of the above described property. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause notices of such public hearings to be published in a newspaper having a general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be annexed; such notices to be published at least once in such newspaper not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days to prior to said hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. IV. The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into the area proposed to be annexed. Alternative 1 By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. Holder Survey, A297, in Williamson County, Texas and being a portion of that tract of land conveyed to South Creek Joint Venture by deed recorded in Volume 2191, Page 865, Williamson County Deed Records, said 21.02 acres being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the east line of the said South Creek Joint Venture tract and the west line of that tract conveyed to the M.K.T. These are single-family development tracts and following annexation, the original zoning requested by the developer will accordingly be SF -2 (Single family -standard lot).
