DATE: June 9, 1992
SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, June 11, 1992
ITEM: 9.A. Consider an ordinance amending the Traffic Code by designating
the intersection of Oak Park Drive and Clearwater Drive as a stop
intersection. (Second Reading)
RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining
STAFF
RECOMMENDATION: Approval
Oak Park Drive intersects Clearwater Drive. Because Clearwater represents an
important link between Oakwood Boulevard and Oaklands Drive this proposal
would stop Oak Park in favor of Clearwater in order to eliminate motorist
confusion at this location.
Economic Impact: Installation and maintenance of traffic signs; police patrol as
required.
