It shall be the duty of the city rnarshall to take up and
impound any horses, mules,_ jacks, jerrnets, cattle, hogs, goats
or sheep,.. found running at large within the corporate lmits'of

impounding and detention, as hereinafter provided, are paid.
Section 4.

to the owner, or person in charge of such stock, if known, ether
by- verbal notice given in person, or by written notitre mailed
to such owner or person in charge,at his post office address.

Section 7.
The city of Round Rock shall be entitled to receive and
collect form the owner, or person in charge of ,, any such stock
all reasonable expenses incurred in impounding, detaining,
feeding and oaring for such stock, together with One dollar per
head on horses, mules, jacks, jennets, and cattle,: and Fifty cents
per head on hogs,goats and sheep, as an impounding 4fee on all
stock impounded under the provisions of this ordinance, Wkich
said fees and expenses shall be paid t.o the riarshal1 before the
possession of such stock is turned over to such owner, or person
in charge.

cribing such stook in such notice,, by publishing same one time it
a newspaper published in this city,, and if the owner, or person

the publication of such notice, within five days after the date

CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, OF HORSES,
MULES, JACKS, JENNIES, CATTLE, HOGS, GOATS AND SHEEP, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOUNDING OF ANY SUCH STOCK SO FOUND RUNNING
AR LARGE.
BE IT ORDAINED By the City Council of the City of Round Rock,
Texas:
That if any person shall willfully turn out, or cause
to be turned out, within the corporate liMits of the city of
Round Rock, Texas, on land not his on, or under his control,
or on any. street, alley or. public place in said city, any
horses, mules, jacks, jennies, cattle, hogs, goats or sheep,
he shall be deemedguilty of a misdeameanor and upon con-
viction shall be fined in any-suM not less than five dollars
or more than two hundred dollars.
