ATTEST:

TCORD5
DATE: December 22, 1989
SUBJECT: City Council Meeting , December 28, 1989
ITEM: 91. Consider an ordinance amending the garbage rates to comply with the
Texas Department of Health Regulations ani Williamson County tipping
increase. (Second Reading)
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Bob Bennett
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
The Texas Department is requiring us to go up $.17 per yard of trash
delivered at the county landfill and the operator of the landfill is going up
$.10 per yard. The City needs to increase the monthly residential garbage fee
be $.27 to cover these additional costs. The rate is $6.60 plus $.27. Total
amount is $6.87.
