Consider executing a letter agreement in reference to the use of the Williamson County
PEAC software.
Williamson County has purchased the "PEAL' software for the hazmat team, it takes all
of our TIER II data, and creates worse case scenario plume models. This will allow us
to do some predictive modeling either in advance or at the beginning of a hazmat event
to help with the protection of the public and first responders. The software could be
beneficial for us to use on emergency incidents in the City of the Round Rock. Wilco
has agreed to allow us to use the software, but ask that we sign the attached document
stating that we will not provide information gathered from the software to the public.
Staff recommends approval
