STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval. This ordinance will provide for the stop signs installed by the Department of Highways at this intersection. The intersection of North Mays and Old Settlers Boulevard consists of two "legs" on the State Highway System and two "legs" which are City roadways. The State system makes a ninety (90) degree turn at this intersection and requires all way protection to avoid confusion. The State Highway Department plans the installation of full traffic signals at this location as part of= their highway improvement project. The all way stop is an interim action pending the installation of these signals. ECONOMIC IMPACT: None. Signs are in place.
