11I. Consider an ordinance naming the newly constructed
"Deepwood extension." (First Reading)
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
That the western cut off of the newly constructed Deepwood
Extension, which provides access to Chisholm Valley Middle School,
be named Deepwood Lane.
An ordinance is required to name this newly constructed street
due to the fact that it is not platted.
Street names are required to pass traffic code amendments to
establish speed limits and other traffic regulations.
ECONOMIC IMPACT: Cost of street signs and installation.
