IN REPLY REFER TO JUN 2 1988 CITY CF. OCA{ Our Traffic Engineering Office has recently requested and received a speed zone Ordinance on IH 35 main lanes pertaining to a construction speed zone. We would like to request an extension in the limits of this construction speed zone to the north city limit of Round Rock. Our Department has an upcoming project that involves construciton on the FM 3406 bridge. Exending this construction speed zone would enable us to post our 55 mph signs in advance of the project limits when needed. At the present time we are limited by station number referenced in the present ordinance to a point just south of FM 3406 overpass. Please advise this office of any additional information that may be needed by your office to proceed with this extension of the construction speed zone.
