AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
TO BE HELD IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND SETTING A DATE,
TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS.

• TEXAS, THAT,
I.
On the 4th day of February
, 19 88 ,
at 6:00 o'clock p. M. in the City Council Chambers,
City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a
public hearing giving all interested persons the right
to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the
City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described
in Exhibit (s) "A" & "B" attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
II.
On the 11th day of
February
, 19 88
at 7:00 o'clock P. M. in the City Council Chambers
of the City of

hold a public hearing giving all t.erested persons the
right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by
the City of the above described property.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed
to cause notices of such public hearings to be published
in a newspaper having general circulation in the City and
in the territory proposed to be annexed; such notices to be
published at least once in such newspaper not more than
twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to said
hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act.
IV.
The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare a service plan that provides for
the extension of municipal services into the area
proposed to be annexed.

Williamson County Deed Records; the said 147.118 acres being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING at a point in the existing north line of Gattis School
Road (right-of-way varies),.said point being the southeast corner of the said
352.247 acre tract, same being the southwest corner of that 13.729 acre tract
conveyed to Wyatt E. Ewald Custom Homes, Inc., by deed of record in Volume
1084, Page 129 of the said Deed Records;
THENCE, leaving the north line of said Gattis School Road,
continuing along the east line of the said 352.247 acre tract, same being the
west line of the said 13.729 acre tract, the following four (4) courses and
distances: -
1) N 00° 01' 51" E, 1453.49 feet to a point;

and place of public hearings to consider the
proposed voluntary annexation of the remainder
of Round Rock Ranch. (First Reading)
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval. This sets the date time and
place for the annexation public hearings for the portion
of Round Rock Ranch lying northwest of the Mokan Right -Of -
Way. It also includes a 90 foot strip of the Mokan Right -
Of -Way.
This is a voluntary annexation by both Round Rock Ranch
and Mokan.
The public hearing dates are as follows:
1.) 6:00 P.M. February 4, 1988 (special)
2.) 7:00 P.M. February 11, 1988 (regular)
ECONOMIC IMPACT: This land will be serviced by the developer.
Standard maintenance cost for the completed subdivision
upon acceptance.
