O-87-2309 - 11/24/1987ORDINANCE NO. 2309 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, SECTION 14.A, SCHEDULE I BY ADDING 20 MPH SPEED ZONE ON CREEKV1EW DRIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That Chapter 9, Section I4.A, Schedule I, Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock. Texas is hereby amended by adding 20 miles per hour speed zone at the following locations: ON ekview Drive FROM IQ Oakridge Drive Deepwood Drive And that further this speed limit will change back to 30 MPH upon completion of a sidewalk from Deepwood Drive to Oakridge Drive. A. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. B. (Second Reading) STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining STAFF RECOMMENDATION: That a 20 MPH speed zone on Creekview Drive from Deepwood drive to Oakridge Drive be approved conditioned on the understanding that the speed limit will revert to 30 MPH immediately upon completion of a sidewalk for the same distance. ECONOMIC IMPACT: Cost of signs, installation, and construction of sidewalks.
