O-87-2307 - 11/12/1987ORDINANCE NO. 2307 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 10, ORIGINAL TOWN PLAT OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID ALLEY AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS I. That a portion of the alley, as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, which is located in Block 10, Original Town Plat of Round Rock, Texas be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned, and permanently vacated as an alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever. II. That the fee to the land in the above described portions of said alley is released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved for any and all existing utilities with the right of ingress and egress thereon for operating, enlarging, repairing, maintaining, rebuilding, replacing, relocating, and removing any existing public utilities. There is also reserved the right of public pedestrian access to those portions of the abandoned alley which are free from buildings or structures at the date of this ordinance. III. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.
