AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD
IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY
THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT,
I.
On the 4 day of November , 19 87, at 6:00
o'clock P. m. in the City Council Chambers, City of Round Rock
Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all
interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed
annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described
in Exhibit "A" Tracts 1-20 attached hereto and made a part hereof.
II.
On the 12th day of November , 19 87, at 7 : 00
o'clock p, m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Round Rock,
Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested
persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by
the City of the above-described property.
III.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause
notices of such public hearings to be published in a newspaper having
general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be
annexed; such notices to be published at least once in such newspaper
not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to said
hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act.
IV.
The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and directed to
prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal
services into the area proposed to be annexed.

vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading

FIELD NOTES FOR 19.077 ACRES
FIELD NOTES describing a 19.077 acre tract or parcel of land out of the David
Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson County. Texas, being all
of the following tracts of land:
1) 4.05 acres conveyed to Cecil W. Fisher and wife. Sally S. Fisher, in
Volume 668, Page 657. of the Deed Records of said County;
2) 4.01 acres conveyed to Earl H. and wife, Dorothy M. Seay, in Volume
664, Page 420, of the Deed Records of said County;
3) 2.30 acres conveyed to E. 0. Curtsinger and wife, Mildred Curtsinger,
in Volume 880, Page 858, of the Deed Records of said County;
4) 1.68 acres conveyed to Marvin William Reavis and wife. Phyllis B.
Reavis, in Volume 693, Page 16, of the Deed Records of said County;
5) 2.00 acres conveyed to Harry R. and Sarah L. Williams in Volume 670,
Page 461, of the Deed Records of said County;
6) 1.36 acres conveyed to Richard A. and wife, Joan A. Foster, in Volume
795, Page 45, of the Deed Records of said County;
7) 1.35 acres conveyed to Robert C. Duff and wife, Janice D. Duff, in
Volume 666, Page 832, of the Deed Records of said County;
8) 1.28 acres conveyed to Albert L. and wife, Elsa A. Lange, in Volume
665, Page 554, of the Deed Records of said County;
9) 1.28 acres conveyed to Rodney A. Lange in Volume 713, Page 595, of the
Deed Records of said County;
said tracts being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West right-of-way line of Sam Bass Road, also being
the most northerly Northeast corner of said 1.36 acre tract, for the Northeast
corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described 19.077 acres;
THENCE along the West right-of-way line of Sam Bass Road for the East line
hereof, the following seven (7) courses:
1) S70°48'00"E, 166.89 feet to an angle point hereof;.
2) S64°44'00"E, 10.20 feet to an angle point hereof;
3) S59°57'00"E, 215.92 feet to an angle point hereof;
4) S42°56'00"E, 107.10 feet to an angle point hereof;
5) S38°56'00"E, 69.42 feet to an angle point hereof;
6) S38°02'00"E, 110.05 feet to an angle point hereof;
7) S50°44'00"E, 119.28 feet to a point for the Southeast corner of said 2.3
acres for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE leaving the West right-of-way line of Sam Bass Road, along the South
line hereof, the following eight (8) courses:

DESCRIPTION, from record information, of 161.748 acres (7,045,759
square feet) of land situated in the Prior A. Holder Survey, Abstract no. 297,
Williamson County, Texas, being out of and part of that 352.247 acre tract
conveyed to Northeast Development, Inc., by deed of record in Volume 1572,
Page 608 of the Williamson County Deed Records; the said 161.748 acres being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows;
COMMENCING at a point in the existing northerly line of the Gattis
School Road right-of-way (right-of-way varies), said point being the southeast
corner of the said 352.247 acre tract, same being the southwest corner of that
12.729 acre tract conveyed to Custom Homes by deed of record in Volume 1084,
Page 130 of the said Deed Records;
THENCE, N 00° 01' 52" E, leaving the said existing north line of
Gattis School Road, continuing along the common line between the said 352.247
acre tract and the said 12.729 acre tract, a distance of 457.51 feet to a
point in the north line of the existing city limits for the City of Round Rock
as established by Ordinance No. 891, passed and adopted November 13, 1986,
said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING and southeast corner of the herein
described tract;
THENCE, N 89° 42' 43" W, leaving the east line of, and continuing
across the said 352.247 acre tract, along the north line of the said city
limits established by the said Ordinance No. 891, a distance of 1970.77 feet
to a point in the westerly line of the said 352.247 acre tract, same being the
east line of that 1.0 acre tract conveyed to J. E. Thompson by deed of record
in Volume 1058, Page 947 of the said Deed Records; from which point, the most
southerly, southwest corner of the said 352.247 acre tract, bears S 00° 25'
11" E, 457.44 feet;
THENCE, N 00° 25' 11" W, leaving the north line of the said city
limits, continuing along the southerly, west line of the said 352.247 acre
tract, same being the east line of the said 1.0 acre tract conveyed to J. E.
Thompson , the east line of that 2.0 acre tract conveyed to Frank Thompson by
deed of record in Volume 711, Page 477 of the said Deed Records, the east line
of that 5.0 acre tract conveyed to James Medina by deed of record in Volume
1093, Page 881 of the said Deed Records and the east line of that 4.22 acre
tract and that 5.0 acre tract conveyed to Robert A. Ledbetter by deed of
record in Volume 588, Page 470 of the said Deed Records, for a distance of
1076.43 feet to a point in the south line of that 18.0 acre tract conveyed to
Lawrence Markert by deed of record in Volume 588, Page 471 of the said Deed
Records;
THENCE, along the common line between the said 18.0 acre tract and
the said 352.247 acre tract, the following three (3) courses and distances:
1) S 85° 33' 53" E, 365.17 feet to a point;
2) N 05° 06' 14" E, 869.65 feet to a point;
3) S 71° 43' 16" W, 942.64 feet to a point in the east line of the
existing city limits for the City of Round Rock as established by
Ordinance No. 849, passed and accepted December 13, 1984;
THENCE, N 00° 11' 43" W, continuing across the said 352.247 acre
tract, along the said east line of the city limits established by the said
Ordinance No. 849, a distance of 1889.93 feet to a point, being an ell corner
in the said city limits line;
THENCE, S 89° 48' 17" W, continuing across the said 352.247 acre
tract, along the said city limits line, a distance of 500.12 feet to a point
in the west line of the said 352.247 acre tract, same being the east line of
that 207.211 acre tract conveyed to Dyer Creek Development by deed of record
in Volume 955, Page 557 of the said Deed Records;

west line of the said 352.247 acre tract, same being the east line of the said

of the said 11.35 acre railroad tract, the following eleven (11) courses and

1) along a curve to the left, having a radius of 2914.93 feet, a
central angle of 18° 49' 15", a chord of 953.21 feet (chord bears S
40° 02' 23" E), for an arc distance of 957.51 feet to a point;
S 40° 32' 59" W, radial to the previous curve, 50.00 feet to a point
on a curve to the left;
3) along the said curve to the left, having a radius of 2964.93 feet, a
central angle of 00° 08' 20", a chord of 7.19 feet (chord bears S
49° 31' 11" E), for an arc distance of 7.19 feet to the point of
tangency;

46° 48' 40" E), for an arc distance of 272.99 feet to an angle

8) S 45° 58' 02" W, radial to the previous curve, 25.00 feet to a point
on a curve to the right;
9) along the said curve to the right, having a radius of 2789.93 feet,
a central angle of 06° 00' 00", a chord of 292.03 feet (chord bears
S 41° 01' 57" E), for an arc distance of 292.16 feet to an angle
point;
10) N 51° 58' 02" E, radial to the previous curve, 25.00 feet to a point
on a curve to the right;
11) along the said curve to the right, having a radius of 2814.93 feet,
a central angle of 12° 44' 32", a chord of 624.73 feet (chord bears
S 31° 39' 41" E), for an arc distance of 626.02 feet to a point in
the east line of the said 352.247 acre tract, same being the west
line of the aforementioned 13.729 acre Custom Homes tract, for the
southeast corner of the said 11.35 acre railroad tract;

and the said 13.729 acre tract, the following four (4) courses and distances:
1) S 01° 01' 07" E, 156.09 feet to an angle point;
2) S 000 26' 53" W, 120.23 feet to an angle point;
3) S 00° 11' 25" E, 568.85 feet to an angle point;
4) S 000 01' 52" W, 995.97 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING
161.748 acres (7,045,759 square feet) of land area within these
metes and bounds.

CORRIDOR PARK I - TRACT 19
Field Notes for
Metes and bounds description of a parcel of land being that
portion of Lot 1, Corridor Park I laying southwest of the
old half mile extra territorial jurisdiction of the City of
Round Rock.
BEGINNING at the easternmost corner of Lot 6, Northridge Acres
No. 2 as recorded in Book 14, Page 84 of the official Deed
Records of Travis County, said corner also being a corner of
Lot 1, Corridor Park I as recorded in Volume 85, Page 66A
of the official Plat Records of said county.
THENCE S 30° 09' 31" W, 365 feet to an iron pin found and
being the POINT OF BEGINNING.
THENCE S 30° 09' 31" W, 299.43 feet to an iron pin found.
THENCE S 29° 56' 22" W, 271.39 feet to an iron pin found at
the southwest corner of said Lot 1, Corridor Park I.
THENCE S 59° 09' 20" E, 1253.79 feet to an iron pin found at
the southeast corner of said Lot 1, Corridor Park I, also
being in the western right-of-way of Bratton Lane.
THENCE N 28° 22' 33" E, 735 feet to an iron pin found, being
the southeast corner of Tract 1 as described in the annexation
field notes for 94.40 acres, known as the Joe W. Bailey tract
and annexed by City of Round Rock Ordinance Number 809.
THENCE 1267.11 feet along a curve having a Radius of 2640
feet and Delta 27° 29' 59"; said curve being a half mile
extra territorial jurisdiction arc of the City of Round Rock,
to an iron pin found being the POINT OF BEGINNING.

ROBINSON 2 ,(620) - TRACT 20
Field Notes for
Description of 37.2 acres more or less out of the J. M. Harrell
Survey, A-284, located in Williamson County, Texas. said
acres containing a portion of the RR 620 right-of-way and
a portion of A. H. Robinson property as it adjoins RR 620
and recorded in Volume 415, Page 74 of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at the northeast cornr of the J. M. Harrell Survey
S 71° W, 5064 feet; Thence S 19° E, 2403 to an iron pin found
and shown as the northwest corner of Deepwood Drive as recorded
on the Deepwood Plaza right-of-way plat recorded in Cabinet
D, Slide 246 of the Plat Recorded of said county. Thence
northward along the existing Round Rock corporate city limits,
to the northern line of the RR 620 right-of-way, this point
being the northeast corner of a 500 foot strip extending
parallel from and including the new northern right-of-way
line of RR 620, such line also being the current Round Rock
corporat city limits.
Extend this strip a distance of approximately 3240 feet,
to be even with the western property line of the Lifemark
Hospital property as recorded in Volume 871, Page 888 of
said county deed records and being the portion of land containing
said 37.2 acres more or less.
