AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1, SECTION 5:A, ADDING
THE DUMPING OF REFUSE AS A PROHIBITED ACT AND ESTABLISHING
THE FINES AND PENALTIES FOR ORDINANCE, RULES OR POLICE
REGULATION VIOLATION AT $2000.00 OR $500.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
I.
That Chapter 1, Section 5:A, of the Code of Ordinances, City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. Fire Safety, Zoning, and Public Health
and Sanitation
Wherever in this code or in any ordinance,
rule or police regulation relating
to fire safety, zoning, and public
health and sanitation including dumping
of refuse, an act is prohibited or
is made or declared to be unlawful
or an offense or misdemeanor, or
wherever in said code the doing of
such act is required or the failure
to do any act is declared to be unlawful,
and no specific penalty is provided
therefore, the violation of such
provision of said code or any such
ordinance shall be punished by a
fine not exceeding two thousand dollars
($2000.00).
The violation of all other ordinances,
rules or police regulations shall
be a fine or penalty not to exceed
five hundred dollars ($500.00).
