O-87-2276 - 3/12/1987ORDINANCE NO. 2276 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SECTION 4:A AND 4:B, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 33:B, CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, TO CHANGE THE TIME OF PAYMENT OF THE BASE WATER AND SEWER SERVICE FEES AND FURTHER TO CHANGE THE LIVING UNIT EQUIVALENTS FOR MULTI -FAMILY AND NURSING HOME USE; TO DELETE THE BASE WATER AND SEWER SERVICE FEES APPLICABLE TO COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL USE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS I. That Chapter 10: Section 4: A. (6)(a)(i) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: (6) Water Service, Inspection and Meter Setting and Tap Fees (a) Water Service Fee (i) Each applicant for a permit for new construction inside the city limits, except single family detached residence construction, shall at the time the permit is issued, pay a base water service fee of one thousand three hundred forty-five dollars ($1,345.00) for each living unit equivalent. The base water service fee for single family detached residence shall be due and payable at the time the applicant requests a final building inspection. II. That Chapter 10: Section 4: B (2)(a)(1) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: (2) Sewer Service, Inspection and Tap Fees (a) Sewer Service Fee (i) Each applicant for a permit for new construction inside the city limits, except single family detached residence construction, shall at the time the permit is issued, pay a base sewer service fee of one thousand, two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250.00) for each living unit equivalent to be served. The base sewer service fee for single family detached residence shall be due and payable at the time the applicant requests a final building inspection. That Chapter 10: Section 4: A (6)(a)(ii) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows: (ii) The number of living unit equivalents for non -single family detached residential use shall be determined as follows: Type of Number of Residential Unit Living Unit Equivalents Duplex 0.9 per unit Tri-plex and four-plex 0.7 per unit Multi -family 0.5 per unit Nursing Homes - Group Care 0.3 per unit IV. That Chapter 10: Section 4: B (2)(a)(ii) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows: (ii) The number of living unit equivalents for non -single family detached residential use shall be determined as follows: Type of Number of Residential Unit Living Unit Equivalents Duplex 0.9 per unit Tri-plex and four-plex 0.7 per unit Multi -family 0.5 per unit Nursing Home - Group Care 0.3 per unit V. That Chapter 1: Section 33: B (2) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: (2) The number of living unit equivalents for non -single family detached residential use shall be as determined as follows: Type of Number of Residential Unit Living Unit Equivalents Duplex 0.9 per unit Tri-plex and four-plex 0.7 per unit Multi -family 0.5 per unit Nursing Homes - Group Care 0.3 per unit VI. That Chapter 10: Section 4: A (6) (a) (iii) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended by deletion in its entirety and further Section 4: A (6) (a) is hereby amended by re -numbering (iv) as (iii) and (v) as (iv). VII. That Chapter 10: Section 4: B (2) (a) (iii) of the Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended by deletion in its entirety and further Section 4: B (2) (a) is hereby amended by re -numbering (iv) as (iii) and (v) as (iv). All ordinances, parts or ordinances, or resolution in conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
