Re: Ordinance amending Road
Improvement Fee
As you may recall, when the City Council approved the creation
of the Northeast Round Rock Road District there was some discussion
to the effect that it was perhaps unfair for land subject to road
district tax to also pay a city road improvement fee. At that time
it was agreed that one solution to this inequity would be for the
$200.00 road fee to be used to retire the outstanding road bonds.
Now that we are rapidly approaching the actual construction of the
roads, as well as the development of the property, I have drafted a
proposed ordinance to accomplish what was previously discussed.
I would appreciate it if you could place this ordinance on the
Council's agenda for the March 13, 1986, meeting. Please let me
knowif you have any questions.
