DATE: September 8, 1986
SUBJECT: Council Agenda, September 11, 1986
ITEM: 11B - Consider an ordinance amending the Traffic Code to make
Anderson Avenue a two-way street. (Second Reading)
The present reconstruction of Anderson Street will result in a street that
is 40 feet between curbs. This width is sufficient for two travel lanes
and two parking lanes. Provision has been made for bus loading and un-
loading in off-street locations.
Additionally, stop signs would be required at So. Mays Street, Blair Street
and Brown Streets.
Round Rock Independent School District has been contacted regarding the
effect of this change on their bussing and indicated no objection.
