O-85-2210 - 12/10/1985ORDINANCE NO. 2210 AN ORDINANCE RESCHEDULING THE SECOND REGULAR MEETING OF THE ROUND ROCK CITY COUNCIL FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, 1985; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS AND PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the second regularly scheduled December meeting of the Round Rock City Council falls on the day after Christmas, and; WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Round Rock requires that the City Council hold atleast two regular meetings each month and as many additional meetings as it deems necessary to transact the business of the City and its citizens and the City Council has, pursuant to the Charter directions set the second and fourth Thursdays of each month as the two regular monthly meetings, and; WHEREAS, because of the conflict caused by the Christmas holidays, the Council of the City of Round Rock deems it neces- sary to reschedule the second regularly scheduled meeting for the month of December, 1985, Now Therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, I. That the second regularly scheduled meeting for the month of December, 1985 is hereby rescheduled to the /c.Q day of December, 1985 at CO 00 p.m. II. That this Ordinance is effective for the year of 1985 only. III. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions there- of. READ and APPROVED on first reading this the V day of , 1985.
