O-85-2207 - 11/26/1985ORDINANCE NO. 2207 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SECTION 4.C.(1) AND 4.C.(2), CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, TO INCREASE THE SANITATION CHARGE FOR THE COLLECTION OF REFUSE; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That the last sentence of Chapter 10, Section 4.C.(1), Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows: The residential sanitation charge shall be six dollars ($6.00) per month. II. That Chapter 10, Section 4.C.(2) Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: A sanitation charge for the collection of refuse from all business, commercial, retail, industrial, and manufacturing establishments shall be made when such collection service is provided by the City or its Contractor. The charge shall include furnishing containers for refuse. Multiple house units having more than five (5) housing units shall be considered commercial customers. The sanitation charge for commercial refuse collection shall be set by the Contractor providing said service. III. The rates provided herein shall become effective at the next regular billing cycle after passage of this ordinance. IV. A. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. B. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. READ and APPROVED on first reading this the � �' day of / , 1985.
