TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES:
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held in City Council Chambers located on the first
floor of City Hall, 221 East Main Street in the City of Round Rock, TX, on March 9, 2017, at 7:00 P.M. by
City Council. Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider public testimony concerning the request filed by Pedcor
Investments, LLC, regarding the funding for affordable multi -family housing. Construction of the
development is proposed to be financed, in part, by equity generated from low-income housing tax
credits issued by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The applicant is required by
State law to pursue a signed resolution stating the City Council does not object to the application for
this funding assistance. Please note that the subject property is currently zoned Multifamily — Medium
Density (MF -2) which allows for the development of an apartment complex. The resolution is to
consider the City's position on the requested tax credits. A resolution stating the City Council's non-
obiection to a 256 unit apartment complex was approved on November 22, 2016. Pedcor Investments,
LLC is now seeking a revised resolution removing the reference to 256 units, as they propose to increase
the number of units. However, the total number of units is limited by the regulations of the MF -2 zoning
district.
