AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING TO BE HELD ON THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION AND SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT
I.
On the 10th day of January , iD 85 , at 5:30
o'clock p .m. on the site of the property proposed to be
annexed, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving.
all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on
the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of
the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
II.
On the 10th day of January , 1985 , at 7:00
o'clock _ p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public
hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and
be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of the
above-described property.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to
cause notices of such public hearings to be published in a
newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the
territory proposed to be annexed; such notices to be pub-
lished at least once in such newspaper not more than twenty
(20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to said hearings,
all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act.
IV.
The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare a service plan that provides for the
extension of municipal services into the area proposed to be
annexed.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed
with.

FIELD NOTES
BEING 33.77 acres of land out of and part of the N. B. Anderson Survey,
Abstract No. 29, situated in Williamson County, Texas; said 33.77 acre
tract being more particularly described as being out of that certain
tract of land conveyed to the Texas Veterans Land Board by deed dated
December 18, 1961, and recorded in Volume 448, Page 535 of the Williamson
County, Texas, Deed Records, said 33.76 acres being more fully described
by metes and bounds as follows;
COMMENCING at a steel pin set in the fence on the east line of a County
Road, said point being in the west line of said Texas Veterans Land Board
Tract, and from which point the southwest corner of said Texas Veterans
Land Board Tract bears S 18° 30' E 875.20 feet for the Southwest corner
and POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE N 17° 19' 41" W for a distance of 804.69 feet to an iron pin set
for the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE N 71° 19' 41" E for a distance of 1803.62 feet to an iron pin
found for the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE S 01° 37' 32" E for a distance of 205.67 feet to an iron pin
found;
THENCE S 79° 04' 02" E for a distance of 209.69 feet to an iron pin set
for a corner hereof;
THENCE S 05° 39' 43" E for a distance of 499.95 feet to an iron pin
found for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE S 70° 47' 20" W for a distance of 1828.53 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING and containing 33.76 acres of land, more or less.
The undersigned does hereby certify that this survey was this day made on
the ground of the property legally described hereon and is correct.
