AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE
FOR TWO PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES BY THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC
HEARINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS, THAT
I.
On the 8th day of November, 1984, and on the 20th day
of November, 1984, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council
Chamber of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council
will hold two public hearings giving all interested persons
the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by
the City of the above-described properties.
II.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to
cause notices of such public hearings to be published in a news-
paper having general circulation in the City and in the territory
proposed to be annexed; such notices to be published at least
once in such newspaper not more than twenty (20) days nor less
than ten (10) days prior to said hearings, all in accordance
with the Municipal Annexation Act.
III.
The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and directed
to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of
municipal services into the areas proposed to be annexed.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

No legal recorded electrical easements were found on the specific tract indicated.
On the south side of Chandler Road, along the northern aide of this tract, there
is an electric line which meanders on and off the above described property. The
Petersons' state that they have signed no papers authorizing this line. There
is ane electrical easement on the Peterson Farm, however the poles for this
easement are on the land retained by the Petersons' and is used to furnish power
to the Peterson home.
No other easements were observed or found on C.urty Records on the tract of land
herein described and the Petersons' state none exist.
The northern most boundary, forming the southern boundary of Chandler Road,
is unfenced on the tract described herein. The Peterson's claim their property
extends into the drainage ditches of Chandler Road. The Surveyor checked the
distances of a fenced portion of land retained by the Petersons' and studied
the road from IN 35 to where the road encounters State Road No. 1460. Based
on all the information accumulated, the Surveyor established the northern
property line and said line is south of what the Petersons', living on the
farm, consider to be their land, but they accepted the Surveyor's findings.
