O-84-2111 - 3/22/1984ORDINANCE NO. 2111 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION AND SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT I. On the 12th da of Apri 1 Y , 19 84 , at 5:45 o'clock p.m. on the site of the property proposed to be annexed, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. II. On the 12th day of April , 19 84 , at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of the above-described property. III. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause notices of such public hearings to be published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be annexed; such notices to be pub- lished at least once in such newspaper not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to said hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. IV. The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a service plan. that provides for the extension of municipal services into the area proposed to be annexed. (Mark through the following alternative that is not appli- cable) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma- tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. 'INN, Mayor City of Round Rock, Texas SERVICE PLAN SOUTH CREEK, TRACT D ANNEXATION 3.025 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS The City of Round Rock, Texas will provide for the extension of municipal services into the territory to be annexed in accordance with the following schedule: 1. Police protection - immediately upon annexation. 2. Fire protection - immediately upon annexation. 3. Solid waste collection annexation. - immediately upon 4. Maintenance of existing water and wastewater facilities - immediately upon annexation. 5. Maintenance of existing public roads, streets and street lighting - immediately upon annex- ation. 6. Maintenance of existing public parks, play- grounds, and swimming pools - immediately upon annexation. 7. Maintenance of any existing publically owned facility building or service within the territory to be annexed - immediately upon annexation. 8. Capital improvements sufficient for providing municipal services for the subject tract are in place such that the cost associated with the extension of service lines to proposed building sites within the tract will be borne by the owner and/or developer. EXHIBIT "A" BEING 3.025 ACRES(131759 sq. ft.) OF LAND OUT OF THE P. A.
