O-84-2090 - 1/26/1984ORDINANCE NO. 2090 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, CODE OF ORDINANCES, ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, BY ADDING SECTION 1.1. TO ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS I. That Chapter 3, Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock is hereby amended by adding Section 1.1, which said section shall read as follows: SECTION 1.1: ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS A. A building permit for residential construction of four units or less on a lot shall not be issued until the following conditions have been met: (1) All applicable requirements of Chapter 8: SUBDIVISIONS, have been satisfied, (2) All applicable special permits have been issued, (3) All water and wastewater mains providing service to the subdivision section in which the lot is located have been constructed, installed, and connected to the City system by the developer and sampled and inspected by the City, (4) Where curbs and gutters are required by this Code, such have been installed and inspected by the City, (5) Staff review has been completed, and (6) All necessary fees have been paid. B. A building permit for commercial, industrial or residential construction of more than four units on a lot, shall not be issued until the following conditions have been met. (1) All applicable requirements of Chapter 8: SUBDIVISION, have been satisfied, (2) All applicable special permits have been issued, (3) Staff review has been completed, (4) All necessary fees have been paid, (However, construction shall not be allowed to proceed past the plumbing rough inspection until the following conditions have been met:) (5) All water and wastewater mains providing service to the lot or tract have been constructed, installed, and connected to the City system by the developer and sampled and inspected by the City, and (6) Active fire hydrants have been installed within required distances to the site. II. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1.
