O-83-2087 - 12/22/1983ORDINANCE NO. 2087 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED TO ACQUIRE A SEWER LINE EASEMENT OVER AND ACROSS CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY FRANKLIN PIERCE, ET AL WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas has determined that certain improvements need to be constructed to the sanitary sewer system to protect the health and safety of the citizens, and WHEREAS, the City has determined that certain easements need to be acquired on which to construct the needed improvements, and WHEREAS, one of the necessary easements is over and across the property described in Exhibit A. WHEREAS, negotiations with the owner of the above described tract to purchase an easement have not been successful, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to proceed immediately with the acquisition by eminent domain of a sewer line easement over and across the above described property. (Mark through the following alternative that is not appli- cable) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma- tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.
