AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
PROCEED TO ACQUIRE A SEWER LINE EASEMENT OVER AND
ACROSS CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY FRANKLIN PIERCE,
ET AL
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas
has determined that certain improvements need to be
constructed to the sanitary sewer system to protect the
health and safety of the citizens, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that certain easements
need to be acquired on which to construct the needed
improvements, and
WHEREAS, one of the necessary easements is over and
across the property described in Exhibit A.
WHEREAS, negotiations with the owner of the above
described tract to purchase an easement have not been
successful, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to proceed
immediately with the acquisition by eminent domain of a sewer
line easement over and across the above described property.
(Mark through the following alternative that is not appli-
cable)

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed
with.

FIELD NOTES OF A FIFTEEN (15) FOOT WIDE SANITARY SEWER LINE EASEMENT
FIELD NOTES describing a strip of land. being fifteen (15) feet in
width, for the purpose of construction and maintenance of a sanitary
sewer line. being upon that certain 2.451 acre tract conveyed to
Franklin Pierce. et al. by Warranty Deed recorded in Volume 935, Page
657 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, being more par-
ticularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a point in the east right-of-way line of
Interstate Highway No. 35, being the northwest corner of said 2.451
acre tract; thence along said east right-of-way line. SO2 23'W. 32.32
feet to a point for the northwest corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the
hereinafter described easement;
THENCE along the north line hereof, the following three (3) courses:
1.) S87 37'E. 11.35 feet to a Point of Curvature hereof;
2.) along the arc of a curve to the right having elements of delta=
11 07'01". radius= 315.66 feet. arc= 61.25 feet, tangent= 30.72 feet,
chord bearing and chord= N46 22'OO"E, 61.15 feet to a point in the
north line of said 2.451 acres, for a Point of Tangency hereof;
3.) N80 08'E, 35.10 feet to a point for the easterly limits hereof;
THENCE along the south line hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1.) along the arc of a curve to the left having elements of delta.
18 23'26", radius= 300.66 feet. arc= 96.50 feet, tangent= 48.67 feet
chord bearing and chord= S48 38'W, 96.09 feet to a Point of Tangency
hereof;
2.) N87 37'W, 18.71 feet to a point in said east right-of-way line,
for the southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along said east right-of-way line. NO2 23'E. 15.00 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described easement. containing 0.032
acres (or 1400 square feet) of land more or less.
