O-83-2080 - 11/22/1983ORDINANCE NO. 2080 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION AND SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT I. On the 22nd day of December 19 83 at 5:30 o'clock p .m. on the site of the property proposed to be annexed, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving_ all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. II. On the 22nd day of December , 1983 , at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of the above-described property. III. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause notices of such public hearings to be published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be annexed; such notices to be pub- lished at least once in such newspaper not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to said hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. IV. The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into the area proposed to be annexed. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma- tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. NNE LAND, City Secretary FIELD NOTES: BEGINNING at a point for reference in the east right of way of County Road 175 where it intersects with the present City limit line of the City of Round Rock, said point being northwest corner of a 5 acre tract as recorded in Volume 545, Page 98 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas; THENCE in a southwesterly direction with said City limit line S 11° W 75', more or less, to a point in the west right of way of County Road 175 for the southwest corner hereof; THENCE leaving said City limit line and continuing in a northwesterly direction with the west right of way of County Road 175 N 40° 25' W 601', more or less, to a point; THENCE continuing with west line of said right of way N 42° 45' W 566.7', more or less, to a'point; THENCE continuing with west line of said right of way the following 2 courses; N 44° 15' W 883.69'; N 47° 36' W 278.61'; to a point for the northwest corner hereof; THENCE leaving said right of way N 63° 52' E 69.72' to a point in the east right of way of County Road 175, being the most northeast corner hereof, the same being the northwest corner of a tract of land as once conveyed to Rose Fulkes Gill by deed recorded in Volume 559 Pg. 692 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas; THENCE in a southeasterly direction with the east right of way of County Road 175 the following 5 courses; S 44° 04' E 571.44'; S 44° 28' E 672.20': S 42° 38' E 451.03'; S 42° 26' E 54.42'; S 40° 30' E 466.69': to the point of beginning containing 2.81 acres of land. f t
