AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTEi° iSION OF THE
EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY O ROUND
ROCK TO INCLUDE CERTAIN TERRITORY CONITIGUOUS WITH
THE EXISTING EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE
CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a petition .has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas requesting that the
extraterritorial jurisdiction of said City be extended to
include the property described in Exhibits A and B, attached
hereto and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by 11 of the owners
of said property, and
WHEREAS, said property is contiguous to the otherwise
existing extraterritorial jurisdiction_ of the City of Round
Rock, and
WHEREAS, the extension of the extraterr"itorial jurisdic-
tion will not conflict with the extraterritorial jurisdiction
of another city, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in -the best interest
of the City of Round Rock to so extend its; extraterritorial
jurisdiction to include the above descril property, now
therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:

BEING 1.995 acres in the John D. Anderson Survey, Abstract No.16, in Williamson County,
Texas, and being out of and a part of a 511.0 acre tract of land described in a deed from
R. H. Clinger to Perry 0. Mayfield, deed dated January 10, 1931 and recorded in Vol.
258, Page 214 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at an iron stake found in the West margin of County Road No. 175 for the
Northeast corner hereof, said point also being the Southeast corner of a 1.04 acre
tract of land previously conveyed to Dick Mayfield, of record in Vol_ 552,, Page 317,
Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE with the fence along the North boundary line hereof and the South boundary line
of the Dick Mayfield tract, S 60°28'W, 208.65 feet to an iron stake found for the
Northwest corner hereof and the Southwest corner of the Dick Mayfield tract; said point
also being in the West boundary line of the above referred to 511.0 acre tract;
THENCE with the fence along the West boundary line of the said 511.0 acre tract and the
West boundary line hereof, S 17°05'E, 172.75 feet and S 16°44'E, 107.63 fit to an iron
stake for the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE N 72°58'E, 358.94 feet to an iron stake set in the West margin of county Road
No. 175 for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE with the fence along the West margin of County Road No. 175 and the East
boundary line hereof, N 42°28'W, 360.47 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.

Greetings:
I (We) the owner(s) of the following described territory,
which adjoins and is contiguous to the existing extraterritorial
jurisdiction of Round Rock, Texas, and which is not within the
extraterritorial jurisdiction of any other city, request that
such extraterritorial jurisdiction of Round Rock be extended,
pursuant to Art. 970a, Sec. 3. C. V.A.C.S., to include said
property, described in exhibit A, attached hereto and made a
