AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
PROCEED TO ACQUIRE A SEWER LINE EASEMENT OVER AND
ACROSS CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY CURTIS CHAMBERS
AND PATRICIA CHAMBERS.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas
has determined that certain improvements need to be
constructed to the sanitary sewer system to protect the
health and safety of the citizens, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that certain easements
need to be acquired on which to construct the needed
improvements, and
WHEREAS, one of the necessary easements is over and
across the following described property:
FIELD NOTES describing an easement, being a fifteen
(15) foot wide permanent easement and a temporary
construction easement fifty (50) feet in width, for
the purpose of construction and maintenance of a
sanitary sewer line, being upon Lots 13 and 12,
Egger's Acres, Revision No. 1, as shown on a Plat
of Record in Volume 2, Page 140 of the Plat Records
of Williamson County, Texas, conveyed to Wayne F.
Williams by deed recorded in Volume 766, Page 205
of the Deed Records of said County, said permanent
easement being more particularly described as being
seven and one-half (7.5) feet on each side of its
following described centerline, and said temporary
construction easement being more particularly
described as being twenty-five (25) feet on each
side of its following described centerline:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a point, being the
Northwest corner of said Lot 13; thence along the
West line of said Lot 13, S 04° 10' E, 14.99 feet
to a point, being the Northerly limits and POINT OF
BEGINNING of the hereinafter described easement
centerline;
THENCE along the centerline hereof, the following
three (3) courses:
1) S 47° 23' E, 40.04 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) S 30° 52' E, 228.77 feet to an angle point
hereof;
3) S 07° 57' W, 20.07 feet to a point in the North
right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 79, being the
South line of said Lot 12, for the Southerly limits
and POINT OF TERMINATION of the herein described
easement.
WHEREAS, negotiations with the owner of the above
described tract to purchase an easement have not been
successful, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to proceed
immediately with the acquisition by eminent domain of a sewer
line easement over and across the above described property.

tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed
with.
