O-83-2027 - 8/11/1983ORDINANCE NO. 2027 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK TO INCLUDE CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS WITH THE EXISTING EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS. WHEREAS, a petition .has been presented to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas requesting that the extraterritorial jurisdiction of said City be extended to include the property described in Exhibits A One through A Three and Exhibits B One through B Three, attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, said petition was signed by all of the owners of said property, and WHEREAS, said property .is contiguous to the otherwise existing extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Round Rock, and WHEREAS, the extension of the extraterritorial jurisdic- tion not conflict with the extraterritorial jurisdiction of another city, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interest of the City of Round Rock to so extend its extraterritorial jurisdiction to include the above described property, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: I. The- extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Round Rock, Texas shall be extended so as to include the property described in Exhibits_A, and outlined in red ink in Exhibits B, both exhibits attached hereto and made a part hereof. TONN, Mayor City of Round Rock, Texas EXHIBIT "A -ONE" BEING 240 acres of land out of and a part of the Joseph Marshall Survey, situated in Williamson County, Texas, said 240 acre tract being more par- ticularly described as being a portion of that certain 316 acre tract of land being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING in the center of Brushy Creek, on the East line of the Prior A. Holder League; THENCE South 750 vrs with the East line of said league to a stake in road; THENCE S 39 E 1300 vrs to a corner post of pasture fence, and running with the road; THENCE East 40 vrs to the East line of this tract, which was the original subdivision of the Joseph Marshall 1/4 League, dividing said tract in two parts; THENCE North 2599 vrs to the center of Brushy Creek; THENCE up said creek, with its meanderings to the place of beginning, containing 240 acres of land, more or less. SAVE AND EXCEPT any of the above property which is currently within the extra- territorial jurisdiction of any other city.
