AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN
EASEMENTS THROUGH EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas,
has determined that additional wastewater lines are necessary
for the health and safety of the citizens of the City, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire easements over
certain property to construct and install wastewater lines to
transfer wastewater from using customers to processing
facilities, and
WHEREAS, one of the necessary easements is over certain
property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein, and
WHEREAS, negotiations with the owner(s) of the above de-
scribed tract to purchase said easement have not been
successful, Now Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
I.
That the City Attorney and/or other attorney(s) retained
by the City are hereby authorized and directed to immediately
proceed with the acquisition through eminent domain
proceedings of an easement for wastewater line purposes over
and upon the property described in Exhibit
"A"?
attached
hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. The terms,
conditions, rights, responsibilities and obligations of the
easement authorized for acquisition is as described in
Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
purposes.

FIELD NOTES FOR A TEN (10) FOOT WIDE
SANITARY SEWER LINE -EASEMENT
FIELD NOTES describing an easement, being a permanent easement ten (10) feet
in width and a temporary construction easement fifty (50) feet in width, for
the purpose of construction and maintenance of a sanitary sewer line, being
upon Lot 2, of the Washington Anderson Addition to the City of Round Rock,
Texas, conveyed to the Maria Beal Estate by deed recorded in Volume 135,
Page 358, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, said permanent
easement being more particularly described as being five (5) feet on each
side of and adjacent and parallel to its following described centerline and
said temporary construction easement being more particularly described as
being twenty-five (25) feet on each side of and adjacent and parallel to its
following described centerline:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a point in the division line between Lot 1, of
said Washington Anderson Addition, conveyed to Mrs. Julius Lee Mays by deed
recorded in Volume 319, Page 44, of said Deed Records, and said Lot 2, also
being the centerline of an existing sewer line, the easement for said exist-
ing line being granted to the City of Round Rock and recorded in Volume 546,
Page 460, of said Deed Records; thence along said division line N06°451E,
10.05 feet to a point, being the Easterly limits and POINT OF BEGINNING of
the hereinafter described easement centerline;
THENCE along the centerline hereof, N77°44'W, 158.00 feet to a point in the
division line between Lot 3, of said Addition, being the Joe Johnson Estate
recorded in Volume 167, Page 189, of said Deed Records, and said Lot 2, for
the Westerly limits and POINT OF TERMINATION of the herein described ease-
ment.
