TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES:
Notice is hereby given of public hearings to be held in City Council Chambers located on the first
floor of City Hall, 221 East Main Street in the City of Round Rock, TX, on March 23, 2017, at 7:00 P.M. by
City Council.
Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearings. The purpose of the hearings
is to consider public testimony regarding proposed amendments to the City of Round Rock Code of
Ordinances (2010 Edition) on the topics listed below. Each topic will be considered as a separate item
by City Council and will have its own public hearing.
1. New zoning districts SF -3 (Single Family— Mixed Lot), OF -2 (Office — Mid Rise), MU -R (Mixed Use
— Redevelopment and Small Lot), and MU -G (Mixed Use — Greenfield and Large Lot);
2. Downtown mixed use zoning districts MU -1 (Mixed Use Historic Commercial Core), MU -2
(Mixed Use Downtown Medium Density), and MU -L (Mixed Use Limited) including new
restrictions on bars in the MU -1 district;
3. Compatibility buffer and subdivision wall requirements;
4. Platting procedures; and
5. Model homes and temporary certificates of occupancy for new residential subdivisions.
Additionally, a public hearing will be held to consider public testimony regarding a resolution
authorizing the re -codification of city ordinances to accommodate the proposed Round Rock Zoning and
Development Code.
