O-83-2000 - 4/14/1983ORDINANCE NO. 02,060 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION AND SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT I. On the 12th day of May , 19 83 , at 6:00 o'clock p .m. on the site of the property proposed to be annexed, the City Councilwill hold a public hearing giving. all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. II. On the 12th day of May , 19 83 , at 7:00 o'clock- p .m. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of the above-described property. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause notices of such public hearings to be published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be annexed; such notices to be pub- lished at least once in such newspaper not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to said hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. Iv. The Director of Planning is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into the area proposed to be annexed. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma- tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. C. and Mildred Benningfield as recorded in Volume 557, Page 404, Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground in the month of June, 1982, under the supervison of R. T. Chuey as recorded in Volume 742, Page 340, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, for an inner corner hereof; THENCE, S 70° 54' W, 143.83 feet to iron.pin found in the West line of said Benningfield 4.00 acre tract, marking the N.W. corner of said 1.322 acre Chuey tract, for the most westerly S. W. corner hereof; THENCE, N 17° 44' 30" W, 402.64 feet to iron pin found marking the N.W. corner of said 4.00 acre Benningfield tract for the N.W. corner hereof; said corner also beingin the South line of the SUNRISE VISTA, Section. One (REVISED), a subdivision in the City of Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas; THENCE, N 74° 23' E. 164.10 feet •with said south line of SUNRISE VISTA, Section One (REVISED) to iron•pin set, marking the N.E. corner of said 4.00 acre Benningfield tract for the N.E. corner hereof; THENCE, S 17° 44' E, 1,320.71 feet to the Place of BEGINNING and. containing 1.92 acres of land.
