AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN
EASEMENTS THROUGH EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas
has determined that certain improvements to the sanitary
sewer system are necessary for the health, safety and welfare
of the citizens of the City, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire easements over
certain property to construct and install a sanitary sewer
line, and
WHEREAS, one of the necessary easements is over certain
property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein, and
WHEREAS, negotiations with the owner(s) of the above
described tract to purchase said easement have not been
successful, Now Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
I.
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed
to immediately proceed with the acquisition through eminent
domain proceedings of a public utility easement over and upon
the property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein for all purposes.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed
with.

FIELD NOTES FOR A FIFTEEN (15) FOOT WIDE
SANITARY S WER LINE EASEMENT
•
FIELD NOTES describing an easement, being a fifteen (15) foot wide perma-
nent easement and a fifty (50) foot wide temporary construction easement for
the purpose of construction and maintenance of a sanitary sewer line, being
upon the remainder of that certain 48.75 acres conveyed to Harriet Rutland
by deed recorded in Volume 359, Page 565, of the Deed Records of Williamson
County, Texas, said permanent easement being more particularly described as
being seven and one-half (7.50) feet on each side of and adjacent and paral-
lel to its following described centerline and said temporary construction
easement being more particularly described as being twenty-five (25) feet on
each side of and adjacent and parallel to its following described center-
line:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a concrete highway monument found in the South
right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 79, being a fenced North line of said
48.75 acres; thence along said fenced right-of-way line N84°03'35"W, 171.67
feet to a point, being the Northerly limits and POINT OF BEGINNING of the
hereinafter described easement centerline;
THENCE along the centerline hereof, the following four (4) courses:
1) S11°08115"W, 45.55 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) S16°24'45"E, 441.08 feet to an angle point hereof;
3) S62°20'15"E, 219.57 feet to an angle point hereof;
4) S52°35'30"E, 109.02 feet to a point in the West line of a 4.00 acre
tract conveyed to the Protestant Episcopal Church Council of the Diocese of
Texas, by deed recorded in Volume 674, Page 230, of said Deed Records, being
the West line of the remainder of said 48.75 acres, said point bears
S02°41'W, 554.45 feet from an iron pin found in said South right-of-way
line, being the Northwest corner of said 4.00 acres, for the POINT OF TERMI-
NATION of the herein described easement centerline.
