ORDINANCE NO. 9V/
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SECTION 4.A. CODE
OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE FOR WATER DEPOSITS TO
RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL USERS;
REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND PROVIDING FOR
A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
I.
That Chapter 10, Section 4.A., Code of Ordinances, City
of Round Rock, Texas is hereby amended by adding a subpara-
graph (12) which said subparagraph shall read as follows:
(12) Deposits For Water Service
(a) Upon making application for water service the
applicant shall pay a water deposit as hereinafter
set forth. Said deposit shall be refunded to the
applicant when service is cancelled; provided how-
ever that any unpaid charges shall first be
deducted from the deposit.
(b) Residential users shall pay a water deposit in
accordance with the following schedule:

(c) Commercial users shall pay a water deposit in
accordance with the following schedule:
(i) Restaurant - $50.00 plus $1.00 per person over
fifty (50) seating capacity.
(ii) Car Wash - $30.00 per bay
(iii) Shopping Centers and Malls - $20.00 per store
front
(iv) Other Businesses shall pay a water deposit
according to the size of meter serving the
premises pursuant to the following schedule:
