O-81-913 - 7/23/1981ORDINANCE NO. g3 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL -OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section i On the 13th day of -August 1981 at 7:00 o'clock P .M. in the City Council Chamber of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. The City Secretary of the City of Round Rock is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such -public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having general circulation in the above described territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) READ and APPROVED on first reading this the day , 19 READ, APPROVEDandADOPTED on second reading this the day of ATTEST: ty ecretary Y L. , MA City of Round Roc EXHIBIT "A" FIELD NOTES OF 8.822 ACRES (PARCEL "E") FIELD NOTES describing an 8.822 acre tract or parcel of land, out of the David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson Coun- ty, Texas, being a portion of the remainder of that certain 169.43 acre tract conveyed to Theron Bradford by deed recorded in Volume 574, Page 390 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a concrete highway monument found in the East right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35, at the Southwest cor- ner of said 169.43 acre tract, also being the Southwest corner of that certain 55.57 acre tract conveyed by Bradford to BJ -HUGHES, INC., by deed recorded in Volume 706, Page 851 of said Deed Records; thence along said East right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35, being the West line of said Hughes tract, N05°48'W, 718.69 feet to an iron pin found at the Northwest corner of said Hughes tract, for the Southwest corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter described 8.822 acre tract; THENCE continuing along said East right-of-way line, for the West line hereof, the following two (2) courses: 1) N05°481W, 161.26 feet to a concrete highway monument found, for an angle point hereof; 2) NOO°40'30"W, 455.80 feet to a point for the Northwest corner here- of; ' THENCE departing said East right-of-way line, along the North line hereof, being the South line of a proposed sixty (60) foot wide road- way, the following four (4) courses: 1) along the arc of a curve to the right having elements of delta = 89°56'30", radius = 20.00 feet, arc = 31.40 feet, tangent = 19.98 feet, chord and chord bearing = 28.27 feet, N44°17'45"E, to a Point of Tan- gency hereof; 2) N89°161E, 4.30 feet to a Point of Curvature hereof; 3) along the arc of a curve to the left having elements of delta = 18°10', radius = 630.00 feet, arc = 199.75 feet, tangent = 100.72 feet, chord and chord bearing = 198.92 feet, N80°11'E, to a Point of Tangency hereof; 4) N71°06'E, 381.83 feet to an iron pin found for the Northeast corner hereof; THENCE along the East line hereof, S11°30'E, 574.79 feet to an iron pin found in the North line of said Hughes 55.57 acre tract for the South- east corner hereof; THENCE along the North line of said Hughes tract, for the South line hereof, S71°06'W, 712.65 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract, containing 8.822 acres of land more or less.
