AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING:
BE IT ORDAINED BY_THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. On the 13th day of August
1.9 81 , at 7:00 o'clock P .M. in the City Council Chamber
of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public
hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard
on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the
property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
Section 2. The City Secretary of the City of Round Rock is
hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to
be published once in a newspaper having general circulation in_the above
described territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days
prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the
Municipal Annexation Act.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading
this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES OF 33.87 ACRES (PARCEL "C")
FIELD NOTES describing a 33.87 acre tract or parcel of land, out of the
David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson County,
Texas, and being comprised and consisting of all or part of the follow-
ing five (5) tracts as described and recorded in the Volumes and Pages
shown:
1) all of that certain 5.85 acre TRACT TWO conveyed to Robert L.
Bowers, Trustee, by deed in Volume 538, Page 546;
2) all of that certain 18.90 acres conveyed to Calvin C. Huffman, et
ux, by deed in Volume 743, Page 783;
3) 2.17 acres of right-of-way, being a portion of U. S. Highway 81;
4) all of that certain 6.098 acre tract, found upon resurvey to con-
tain 5.95 acres, conveyed to Charles S. Parker, et al, by deed in Vol-
ume 660, Page 521;
5) all of that certain 1.0 acre tract, conveyed to Sylvester Killings -
worth by deed in Volume 431, Page 463;
said five (5) tracts combined containing 33.87 acres, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East right-of-way line of Interstate High-
way No. 35, being the Southwest corner of said 5.95 acre tract for the
Southwest corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter described-
33.87 acre PARCEL "C";
THENCE along said East right-of-way line of Interstate Highway No. 35,
for the West line hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1) N11°42'W, 2486.16 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) NO2°58'W, 657.70 feet to a point for the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE continuing along a right-of-way line of Interstate Highway No.
35, for a North line hereof, N78°18'E, 128.2 feet to a point being the
Northeast corner of said 5.85 acres, also being in the West right-of-
way line of U. S. Highway 81;
THENCE crossing said U. S. Highway 81, for a continuation of the North
line hereof, N78°18'E, 101.71 feet to a point in the East right-of-way
line of said U. S. Highway 81 for the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along said East right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 81, for an
East line hereof, S22°24'E, 893.91 feet to an ell corner hereof;
THENCE crossing said U. S. Highway 81, S70°11'W, 100.11 feet to a point
in the West line of said U. S. Highway 81, for an ell corner hereof;
THENCE along said West right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 81, for an
East line hereof, S22°24'E, 1575.92 feet to an ell corner hereof;
THENCE departing said West right-of-way line, S68°48'W, 350.05 feet to
an ell corner hereof;
THENCE S22°31'E, 692.60 feet to a point for the most Southerly South-
east corner hereof;
THENCE along the South line hereof, S83°28'W, 475.95 feet to the POINT
