O-80-763 - 9/11/1980ORDINANCE NO. '( AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, SECTION 14.A. ESTABLISHING SPEED ZONES FOR F.M. HIGHWAY 620. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS THAT I. It is hereby determined upon the basis of an Engineering and Traffic investigation that the prima facie maximum speed limit on those portions of F.M. Highway 620 routed in the City Limits of Round Rock, is as hereinafter stated, which prima facie maximum speed limit shall be effective at all times and signs will be erected giving notice of the prima facie maximum speed limit so declared. I1. That Chapter 9, Section 14.A., Schedule I.(4) Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, shall be amended as follows: ON FROM TO F.M. Highway 620 Station 509+29.81 Station 490+00 West bound F.M. Highway 620 Station 490+60 Station 509+29.81 East bound The remainder of Schedule I.(4) shall remain unchanged. III. That Chapter 9, Section 14.A., Schedule I, (5) Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas shall be amended by adding the following described portions of streets: ON FROM TO F.M. Highway 620 Station 490+00 Station 466+00 West bound F.M. Highway 620 East bound Station 466+00 Station 490+60 IV. That Chapter 9, Section 14.A., Schedule (7), Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, shall be amended as follows: ON FROM TO F.M. Highway 620 West bound Station 466+00 Station 460+16.02 F.M. Highway 620 Station 460+16.02 Station 466+00 East bound V. That Chapter 9, Section 14.A., Schedule II, Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock, Texas, shall be amended to read as follows: SCHEDULE II - SCHOOL ZONES (1) In accordance with Section S.C., and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, the maximum speed limit shall be 20 miles per hour between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on school days only, upon those streets or portions of streets as follows: (list of streets remains unchanged) (2) In accordance with Section 5.C., and when a sign is posted with a flashing light giving notice thereof, the maximum speed limit shall be 35 miles per hour between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., upon those streets or portions of streets as follows: ON F.M. Highway 620 East bound F.M. Highway 620 West bound FROM TO Station 466+00 Station 490+60 Station 490+00 Station 466+00 (Mark through the following alternative that is not ap- plicable) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma- tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.
