AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PRO-
CEED TO ACQUIRE THROUGH EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR A PUMP STATION EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas
has determined that a pump station easement over the herein
described property is necessary to protect the health, safety
and welfare of the citizens of Round Rock, and
WHEREAS, the property over which the pump station ease-
ment is required is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein for all purposes, and
WHEREAS, negotiations with the owners of the above de-
scribed tract have not been successful, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to begin eminent do-
main proceedings, Now Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to immediate-
ly proceed with the acquisition through eminent domain of a
pump station easement over the tract of land described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
purposes.

Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed
with.

FIELD NOTES FOR A 100' x 125' PUMP STATION ADDITION
FIELD NOTES describing a 0.287 acre tract or parcel of land, said tract
being in the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 298 and being part of
the remainder of a 36.36 acre tract conveyed to the Missouri Pacific
Railroad Co.'pany, a Missouri corporation, recorded by deed in Volume
22, Page 441-443 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at an ell corner of a 6.83 acre tract of land
conveyed to Bert Hall et ux, by deed recorded in Volume 606, Page 667
of said Deed Records and being the Northwest corner of a sixty (60)
foot wide easement conveyed to the City of Round Rock, recorded in Vol-
ume 271, Page 526 of said Deed Records, thence N70°13'E, 97.50 feet to
a point in a South line of said 36.36 acre tract and the North line of
said easement, for the Southwest corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the
hereinafter described 0.287 acre tract of land;
THENCE along the West line hereof, N19°47'W, 100.00 feet to a point for
the Northwest corner hereof; -
THENCE along the North line hereof, N70°13'E, 12.5.00 feet to a point
for the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the East line hereof, S19°471E, 100.00feet to a point in
the North line of said easement and a South line of said 36.36 acre
tract, for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the North line of said easement and a South line of said
36.36 acre tract, for the South line hereof,- S70°13'W, 125.00 feet to
the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract of land containing
0.287 acres of land more or less.
I, Steven D. Kallman, A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER, do hereby
certify that these field notes were prepared from maps and records pre-
pared by others arid a partial on -the -ground survey made under my direc-
tion and supervision on the 8th day of April, 1980. All corners locat-
ed are as shown. There are no encroachments, conflicts or protrusions
apparent on the ground except as shown.
