O-79-727 - 11/20/1979ORDINANCE N0. 722 7 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1. On the 13th day of December 19 79, at 7:00 o'clock p .M. in the City Council Chamber of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. The City Secretary of the City of Round Rock is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having general circulation in the above described territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. ONN, YOR City of Round Rock, Texas EXHIBIT "A" Being an area located along the west side of F.M. 1460 and consisting of the Cen-Tex Cabinet Shop tract, the Preferred Stamping tract, the Cotton Gin tract and an additional tract of land extending south from the Cotton Gin tract to the present corporate limit line north of the U.S. Highway 79 and being at least five hundred feet wide at its narrowest breadth.
