O-79-588 - 3/22/1979ORDINANCE NO, AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A PROPOSED SCHEDULE FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF CERTAIN REVENUE SHARING FUNDS. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the City Council on March 8, 1979 to discuss proposals for the expenditure of certain revenue sharing funds, and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it would be in the best interests of the City of Round Rock to expend the funds in accordance with the attached schedule, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: I, The revenue sharing funds which are available to the City shall be allocated to the extent possible, in accordance with the proposed schedule, a copy of which is attached hereto. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1. GRI FITH, or City of Round Rock, as REVENUE SHARING FACT SHEET REVENUE SHARING RE -ALLOCATION: Staff recommends that the balance of the fiscal 1977-1978 Revenue Sharing be re -allocated to defray costs of 2 needed police vehicles and a mini lift station at the new Spring street water well. The Police Department desperatly needs to replace their 1974 and 1975 marked cruisers at an estimated cost of.$18,000. The mini lift station is required by the Health Department,to relocate septic tanks. in the area of the new water well before we are allowed to use that new facility.
