O-78-578 - 12/28/1978ORDINANCE NO. 57R AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION AS AN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR AN EXPIRATION DATE. WHEREAS, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Westinghouse", and the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter referred to as "City", have heretofore entered into a written agreement dated the 14th day of December, 1978; and WHEREAS, pursuant to such written agreement, Westinghouse has submitted its Petition for Inclusion within the Extraterri- torial Jurisdiction of City; and WHEREAS, City has pursuant to such Petition expanded its extraterritorial jurisdiction to include therein the land de- scribed in such Petition and such land is currently within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of City; and WHEREAS, certain other land was included within City's extra- territorial jurisdiction prior to the inclusion of the land de- scribed immediately above; and WHEREAS, all of such land as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes is now within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5 of Art. 970a., Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, the parties hereto desire to create an Industrial District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: I. The City hereby designates as an Industrial District the property shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, thereby guaranteeing the continuation of the extraterritorial status of such land in this District and its immunity from annexation by the City for a period of seven (7) years from the date of this ordinance. II. This Ordinance automatically expires on December 28, 1985. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1.
