O-78-575 - 12/14/1978AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1. On the llth day of January , 1979 , at 7:00 o'clock P .M. in the. City Council Chamber of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas of the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. The City Secretary of the City of Round Rock is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having general cir- culation in the city and in the above described territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. Harrell Survey in Williamson County, Texas, said 27.793 acre tract being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point being the most easterly southeast corner of Lot No. 20, Block G of Round Rock West Section 2, a subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 8, Pages 22-24 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, said point also being in the north R.O.W. line of McNeil Road; THENCE with the boundary line of Round Rock West Section 2 the following courses: North 49° 40' West for a distance of 302.65 feet to an iron pin set for an angle point; North 48° 04' West for a distance of 66.46 feet to an iron pin set for an angle point; North 50° 07' West for a distance of 212.16 feet to an iron pin set for an angle point; North 39° 24' East for a distance 901.79 feet to an iron pin; THENCE continuing with the boundary line of Round Rock West Section 2, North 19° 18' West for a distance of 71.54 feet, and North 15° 33' East for a distance of 461.52 feet to an iron pin set at the most easterly southeast corner of Lot No. 1, Block G of Round Rock West Section 2, said point also being the southernmost corner of Lot No. 1, Block B of Round Rock West Section 4; THENCE continuing with the boundary line of Round Rock West Section 4 the following courses: North 15° 30' East for a distance of 66.03 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point; North 19° 21' East for a distance of 626.59 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point; North 27° 52' East for a distance of 15.40 feet to an iron pin set at the southern- most corner of Lot No. 9, Block B of Round Rock West Section 4; THENCE with the west line of Round Rock West Section 4, South 19° 10' East for a distance of 1375.68 feet to an iron pin set in the north R.O.W. line of McNeil Road; THENCE with the north R.O.W. line of McNeil Road, South 43° 45' West for a distance of 1321.13 feet, more or less, to a point in the north R.O.W. line of McNeil Road being the most easterly southeast corner of Lot No. 20, Block G of Round Rock West Section 2 and the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract described herein containing 27.793 acres of land more or less.
