O-78-557 - 9/14/1978ORDINANCE NO. , 7 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1. On the day of tOCZabeiLl , 19V, at 7,000 o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chamber of the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas of the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. The City Secretary of the City of Round Rock is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having general cir- culation in the city and in the above described territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act. Holder Survey in Williamson County, Texas, which 60.6 acres of land are more par- ticularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at an iron stake found in the north line of U.S. Highway 79, said stake also being at the southwest corner of that certain 13.07 acre tract of land as conveyed to Kelly Edgar and Ina May Ogletree McAdams, by deed recorded in Volume 491, Page 593 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and from which corner the northwest corner of said Prior A. Holder Survey bears North 81° 19' West for a distance of 1227 feet and north for a distance of 6857.70 feet; THENCE with the north line of U.S. Highway 79, South 81' 19' East for a distance of 485.44 feet to a point in the north line of said U.S. Highway 79 and in the present corporate limit line of the City of Round Rock and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract of land; THENCE with the present corporate limit line of the City of Round Rock North 00° 49' West for a distance of 506.95 feet to a point in said cor- porate limit line for the northwest corner hereof; THENCE in an easterly direction for a distance of 5280 feet a line parallel to the north line of U.S. Highway 79 to a point for the northeast corner hereof; THENCE South 00° 49' East for a distance of 506.95 feet to a point in the north line of U.S. Highway 79 for the southeast corner hereof; THENCE with the north line of U.S. Highway 79 in a westerly direction for a distance of 5280 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 60.6 acres of land.
