O-77-514 - 11/14/1977ORDINANCE NO. 5/4 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: a Section 1. On the ' g day of ,,its , 1977, at ,(, o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chamber in the Round Rock Public Library Meeting Room in the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas of the following described property, to -wit: Beginning for a point of reference at a point located at the Northeast corner of the 10 acre Warren G. King tract described in Volume 395 Page 517 of the Deed Re- cords of Williamson County, Texas. Thence S 70°30' W, 889.22 feet along the existing City Limit line to a point located on the eastern Right -of - Way of U. S. Highway 81. Thence S 3008' E, 472.35 feet along the existing City Limit line to a 4 inch square concrete monument in the east Right -of -Way Line of U. S. Highway No. 81 also being the Northwest corner of the 4 acre Horace R. Leigh tract as described in Volume 439 Page 584 in the Record of Deeds of Williamson County, Texas. Thence S 2°34' E, 425.50 feet along the existing City Limit line to a monument establishing the Southwest corner hereof. Thence N 71° W, 425.99 feet to a monument. Thence N..2°24' W, 425.49 feet to a monument on the south boundary line of the Warren G. King and Horace R. Leigh tract. Thence N 70°30''-E, 462.23 feet to a point at the Southeast corner of the King tract. Thence N 21° W, 453.21 feet to a point being the Northeast corner of the Warren G. King tract and the Point of Beginning. Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Round Rock is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in the official newspaper of the City of Round Rock having general circulation in the city and in the above described territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, e, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes.)
