O-77-509 - 10/27/1977ORDINANCE NO. �� g AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 13.07 ACRES OUT OF THE PRIOR A. HOLDER SURVEY IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BELOW, BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1. On the /4 day of November, 1977, at //i0 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all in- terested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the following de- scribed property, to -wit: ALL of that certain tract or parcel of land out of the Prior A. Holder Survey in Williamson County, Texas, and being a portion of that certain 13.07 acre tract of land as conveyed to Kelly Edgar McAdams, and wife, Ina May Ogletree McAdams, by Deed recorded in Volume 491, Page 593, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, said tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at an iron stake found at the Southwest the said 13.07 acre tract, being in the North line of 79, and from which corner the Northwest corner of the A. Holder Survey bears, N. 81° 19'W for a distance of and NORTH for a distance of 6854.70 feet; THENCE N 00°04'W for a distance of 663.17 feet to stake found at the Northwest corner of the said 13.07 for the Northwest corner hereof; THENCE S 89°50'E for a distance of 469.80 feet to stake found for the Northeast corner hereof; THENCE S 00°49'E for a distance of 735.06 feet to stake set in the North line of US Highway 79, for the corner hereof, corner of US Highway said Prior 1227.00 feet an iron acre tract an iron an iron Southeast THENCE with the North line of the said US Highway 79, N 81° 19'W for a distance of 485.55 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 7.612 acres of land, more or less. As surveyed by W. Harvey Smith, Registered Public Surveyor No. 720, July 20, 1972. Section 2. The Mayor of the hereby authorized and directed to hearing to be published once in a City of Round Rock, Texas, is cause notice of such public newspaper having general cir- culation in the City of Round Rock, Texas, and in the above de- scribed territory, not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act, Art, 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes.
