I AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 141.1 ACRES OF LAND (A PORTION OF THE GREENSLOPES SUBDIVISION) OUT OF THE P. A. HOLDER SURVEY SITUATED IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BE- LOW, BY THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1. On the /5 day of April, 1978, at %'11jo'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the following described property, to -wit: FIELD NOTES describing a portion of that certain tract of land situated in Williamson County, Texas, conveyed to NPC Realty Co., described in deed recorded in Volume 694, Page 678, a 141.527 acre tract; said portion being 141.082 acres out of the P. A. Holder Survey, Abstract 297 and being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the North right-of-way line of Gattis School Road, said iron pin being the Southwest corner of the P. A. Holder Survey, Abstract No. 297 and said 141.527 acre tract, also being the Southeast corner of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 298 and a 19.3 acre tract of land conveyed to Angus C. Pearson by deed recorded in Volume 524, Page 360 of said deed records, said iron pin being the most Southerly Southwest corner and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING hereof. THENCE along and with the East line of said Holder Survey, being the West line of said Harris Survey, same being the Round Rock City Limits line, North 1654.00 feet to an iron pin found; THENCE along and with the Round Rock City Limits line, the following seven (7) calls: 1.) North 89° 20' East, 958.00 feet to an angle point in an old fence; 2.) North 5° 30' West, 702.50 feet to an angle point in said fence; 3.) North 54° 30' East, 292.00 feet to an angle point in said fence; 4.) North 19° 00' East, 226.00 feet to an angle point in said fence; 5.) North 88° 30' East, 201.00 feet to an angle point in said fence; 6.) North 8° 30' East, 446.00 feet to an angle point in said fence; 7.) North 00° 30' West, 1900.00 feet to a point in the approximate center line of Lake Creek; THENCE North 00° 30' West, 10.97 feet to a point in the approximate center line of Lake Creek, for the most Northerly Northwest corner hereof; THENCE with the center line of Lake Creek, being the North line of said 141.527 acre tract and the North line hereof, the following two (_2) calls: 1.) South 65° 24' 21" East, 225.78 feet to a point; 2.) North 87° 18' 32" East, 284.07 feet to a point at the Northeast corner of said 141.527 acre tract for the Northeast corner hereof; THENCE with the East line of said 141.527 acre tract, being the West line of a 153 acre tract of land conveyed to Carl Anton Forsman by deed recorded in Volume 128, Page 456 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, for the East line hereof, the following sixteen (16) calls: 1.) South 30° 08' 12" East, 47.66 feet to a point; 2.) South 18° 21' 33" West, 27.68 feet to a point; 3.) South 20° 18' 29" West, 30.03 feet to a point; 4.) South 00° 58' East, 58.96 feet to a point; 5.) South 14° 30' 58" East, 68.54 feet to a point; 6.) South 4° 28' 58" East, 325.95 feet to a point; 7.) South 4° 58' 58" East, 274.82 feet to an iron pin found; 8.) South 5° 17' 55" East, 214.93 feet to an iron pin found; 9.) South 4° 51' 38" East, 247.21 feet to an iron pin found; 10.) South 3° 25' 17" East, 184.70 feet to an iron pin found; 11.) South 5° 32' 34" East, 248.84 feet to an iron pin found; 12.) South 4° 35' 29" East, 297.01 feet to an iron pin found; 13.) South 1° 56' 45" West, 271.01 feet to an iron pin found; 14.) South 1° 39' 52" East, 134.84 feet to an iron pin found; 15.) South 5° 23' 11" East, 303.14 feet to an iron pin found; 16.) South 4° 26' 18" East, 635.97 feet to an iron pin found at the Southwest corner of said Forsman Tract, for an inside corner hereof; THENCE with the South line of said Forsman tract North 83° 38' 50" East, 143.71 feet to an iron pin found at the Northwest corner of lot 9 of Round Rock East - Section One, an unrecorded subdivision, for an ell corner hereof; THENCE with the East line of said 141.527 acre tract, same being the West line of said Round Rock East - Section One, unrecorded, for the East line hereof, the fol- lowing two (2) calls: 1.) South 7° 07' 57" West, 701.42 feet to an iron pin found; 2.) South 5° 25'57" East, 881.42 feet to an iron pin found in the North R.O.W. line of Gattis School Road, being the Southwest corner of said Round Rock East - Section One, unrecorded, for the Southeast corner hereof; THENCE along and with the North R.O.W. line of Gattis School Road, being the South line hereof, the following three (3) calls: 1.) North 89° 02' 05" West, 1309.47 feet to an iron pin found; 2.) North 68° 32' 44" West, 20.70 feet to an iron pin found; 3.) South 81° 37' 05" West, 1006.84 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 141.082 acres more or less. Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas, and in the above described territory, not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act, Art. 970 a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.
