NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING THE ADVISABILITY OF CREATING
THE LA FRONTERA REDEVELOPMENT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, will hold a public hearing in the Council
Chambers at City Hall, 121 E. Main Street, Round Rock, Texas 78664 on April 13, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. to accept public
comments and discuss the proposed advisability of constructing certain improvements and of creating the La Frontera
Redevelopment Public Improvement District (the "District"). A petition has been filed by Austowers, LLC (the
"Petitioner") requesting the establishment of the District.
Assessment District Boundaries
The District is proposed to include approximately 13 acres owned by Petitioner, which are presently located within the
corporate limits of the City of Round Rock, and being described by in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof
(the "Property"). The Property is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of IH -35 and SH 45 in Round Rock,
Texas.
General Nature and Cost of Proposed Improvements
The purposes of the District will include the creation and administration of the District and the design, construction and
acquisition of public improvements that are authorized by Chapter 372, Texas Local Government Code and that are
necessary for full development of the Property, which improvements will consist of wastewater collection
improvements and related appurtenances referred to as the "District Improvements". The Petitioner estimates that the
total cost to design, acquire, and construct all of the District Improvements will not exceed One Hundred Ninety -Eight
Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars ($198,400.00)
Public Hearing
Written and oral objections to the proposed assessments and assessment roll will be considered at the Public Hearing.
